Regulator finds continued landlord commitment to accurate Charter data
A report by the Scottish Housing Regulator has found that landlords continue to show a strong commitment to accurately measuring and reporting on performance to their tenants and others.
Published yesterday, the Regulator’s report summarises the findings of its work to assess the accuracy of information social landlords provided in their Annual Return on the Scottish Social Housing Charter.
The report highlights some of the positive ways landlords are measuring and reporting on their Charter performance.
Christine Macleod, director of governance & performance, said: “Over the first three years of the Charter, landlords have shown a continued commitment to accurate performance reporting. We’ve seen accuracy improve as landlords’ understanding of the Charter, our indicators, and our Technical Guidance has become embedded. This is good news for tenants having conversations with their landlord about its performance. And it’s good news for landlords using the information for benchmarking. With these visits we are able to share positive practice as well as build confidence in the information.”
