Regulator pays visit to Reidvale Housing Association
Reidvale Housing Association’s management committee welcomed representatives of the Scottish Housing Regulator as work continues to achieve the necessary standards of regulatory compliance.
Chairperson Denise Dempsey introduced the ten resident committee members, including the five new members who were elected at the recent SGM.
Also at the meeting last month were director Julie Smillie, who is seconded from Molindinar Park Housing Association, and co-optees Michael Carberry, former director of Blochairn Housing Association; Ian Elrick, former director of finance and development at Glasgow City Council’s Housing Service; Jim Hastie, former director of Scottish Homes and Helen Moore, former chairperson of both Reidvale and GWSF.
Denise Dempsey said: “We are encouraged that the Regulator’s representatives have been extremely helpful and supportive and we will continue to work with them, openly and transparently, to achieve the necessary standards of compliance. We are delighted to have Julie Smillie on board as interim director, and Paul Rydquist as consultant as we continue our journey.”
