The Scottish Housing Regulator has published a new summary report for tenants on the key findings of its first National Report on the Scottish Social Housing Charter.

The report looks at the relationship between overall tenant satisfaction and performance in other areas of landlords’ housing services, and shows the service areas that matter most to tenants.

Christine Macleod, director of regulation, governance and performance, said: “We’ve written the report to help tenants and other service users find out more about social landlords’ performance. We hope that people will find it informative. Tenants told us last year that they valued receiving paper copies of relevant documents in summary form, so we’ve sent the report to all Registered Tenants Organisations, Regional Networks and other organisations. I would encourage landlords to promote the summary to people who use their services.”

The summary also explains how tenants can find out more about the standards and outcomes of the Scottish Social Housing Charter.

The Regulator published its first report on the Scottish Social Housing Charter last month which examined the relationship between overall tenant satisfaction and performance in other areas of landlords’ housing services that matter most to tenants.
