Regulator publishes information note for statutory appointees
The Scottish Housing Regulator has published a new information note for statutory appointees.
A ‘statutory appointee’ is an additional officer appointed by the Regulator to the governing body of an RSL. Making these appointments is one of the statutory powers the Regulator has under the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010.
The Regulator said it will only do this if it needs to take action to protect the interests of tenants and service users.
The process information note for statutory appointees explains what is involved in being a statutory appointee.
