Regulator streamlines reporting for social landlords
Social landlords can now use a new online portal to apply to the Scottish Housing Regulator for consents or to report notifiable events, making the process quicker and easier.
The new approach follows a period of testing with a group of landlords and replaces the existing process of email and correspondence, with immediate effect.
It is the latest phase in the roll-out of the regulator’s award-winning business intelligence system.
Christine MacLeod, director of governance and performance, said: “This new approach will simplify how landlords communicate with us on some of our most routine regulatory activities. We would like to thank the group of landlords who helped us to refine the new system and test the user instructions.”
The regulator has published user instructions to help social landlords use the new system.
