Residents invited to older homes energy efficiency event
The Home Energy Scotland session will provide free advice on how to keep homes more energy efficient and affordable to heat.
Visitors can learn from industry specialists about conservation and incorporating energy efficiency measures into houses, especially those in older, more rural areas. The event will consider all elements of energy conservation and heat loss including glazing, draught proofing and insulation.
In addition, information will be available on installing renewable technologies and what free technical support/funding is available to help install energy efficiency measures and renewable technologies.
The ‘Keeping Warm in Older Properties’ event will take place between 6pm – 8.30pm at The Tolbooth, Lanark on Tuesday, 21 February.
Home Energy Scotland is funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Energy Saving Trust.
