Revised plans unveiled for disused Edinburgh garage and warehouse
Covell Matthews Architects has reduced the number of homes it plans to deliver at a disused vehicle repair workshop in Edinburgh.
Initial proposals lodged earlier this year entailed the demolition of buildings situated at the junction of Constitution Street and John’s Lane at the development of 49 flats.
Now a revised bid of 39 homes has been submitted on the same site.
The latest proposals reduce the number of new-build residential units from 27 to 18 together with a reduction in the number of homes fashioned from the existing repair centre offices from two to one. An accompanying disused warehouse will be converted to 20 apartments as before.
