River Clyde Homes Group chief executive to step down
Kevin Scarlett, the chief executive of the River Clyde Homes Group, is to leave his post after seven years at the helm.
Mr Scarlett is moving on in April to take up a new senior strategic housing role in England.
Jillian Moffat, Group board chair, said: “I’m sad that we will be losing our talented CEO, but also delighted that Kevin has secured an exciting new opportunity that also allows him to move closer to his family. During his tenure, RCH has transformed into a nationally recognised housing association.
“He has helped to create a strong customer and community focussed organisation that is able to respond to the many challenges presented through an era of austerity and depopulation in Inverclyde.”
“On behalf of the board, I express our sincere thanks and very best wishes to Kevin for his excellent leadership. We are also confident that the team at the RCH Group will continue to push the boundaries to help our communities thrive by providing excellent services and homes.”
Kevin Scarlett added: “I have had an amazing time at RCH and had the privilege to work with so many committed and talented people. I am sad to be leaving colleagues who have also become friends, but I am also looking forward to returning closer to my family.”
The RCH Group board will start the process of identifying a new CEO over the coming weeks.
