River Clyde Homes provides Christmas boost for Broomhill children
River Clyde Homes has successfully applied to the Radio Clyde Cash for Kids Christmas Grant for children living in Broomhill.
Cash for Kids welcomes applications from families in financial hardship with children under the age of 16. The aim of the fund is to assist families who are in need of support over Christmas and the grant provides £25 per child which can be spent on food, toys or clothes.
All 19 applications made by River Clyde Homes were successful, meaning a £475 boost to the local community in the run up to Christmas. Each child received a £25 gift voucher for a shop of their choice along with a selection box from River Clyde Homes’ contractor Enviraz Environmental Specialists.
Head of customer services (central), Kirsty Morrison, said: “This is a fantastic outcome for families living in Broomhill. River Clyde Homes are not only committed to the physical regeneration of Broomhill, but to ensure each child receives the best start in life. We are delighted with the result and wish all the children and their families a very Happy Christmas.”
