River Clyde Homes provides new retirement homes for Christmas
A new retirement housing initiative in Greenock by River Clyde Homes has proven to be a success with 14 new residents moving into Broomhill Court in the last month.
Retirement housing provides an enhanced housing management service to older people who require assistance to live independently, ultimately, enabling elderly residents to feel safer and more secure within their home.
Potential customers are encouraged to come and view a show home at 126 Broomhill Court on Wednesday 6 November between 11am and 3pm. Not only is it a chance to get more information and see the quality of these refurbished flats, but an opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit and join our staff for a cuppa and some festive treats.
Services on offer in retirement housing will include; a facilities manager on site to look after the block, increased CCTV, call points on landings, guestroom facilities and a garden with seating areas.
Albert Henderson, chair of the River Clyde Homes Board, said of the project: “It has become increasingly clear in recent years of a demand for secure housing with level access that offers a level of support while valuing residents’ independence. The new retirement housing initiative has been a success and to meets that demand. I hope more people come along on Wednesday to see what is on offer.”
