River Clyde Homes secures gold accreditation from Investors In People
River Clyde Homes has retained gold level accreditation from Investors in People (IIP).
Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support, and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results.
The award recognises the Inverclyde-based housing association’s investment in the development and wellbeing of its people and was the result of a rigorous assessment process by IIP.
John Wright, executive director of group services, said: “We are thrilled to retain this gold award which acknowledges the hard work that everybody across the organisation has put in to make River Clyde Homes a fantastic place to work. We have invested in training and development and reinforced a working culture where people feel valued and appreciated – and I am very proud of what we have achieved.
“We believe that the success of our organisation begins and ends with people and achieving IIP gold status shows how we value and care for our colleagues and customers, and the work we’ve done to support and look after their health and wellbeing, particularly over the last 18 months during a pandemic.”
Nicola Campbell, HR manager, added: “At River Clyde Homes we are very proud of our people. Despite working in incredibly challenging circumstances over the last 18 months, we have successfully retained our IIP Gold Award. This is testament to the passion, hard work and commitment of our people and we look forward to continuing to build on our achievements in the future.”
