River Clyde Homes to showcase Dark Side of o’ The Clyde exhibition
An exhibition of stunning photographs by the locally acclaimed Dark Side o’ The Clyde project, that has over 3000 followers on Facebook, has opened at the River Clyde Homes Broomhill Project Office at 1 Broomhill Way, Greenock.
The 10 pictures, in noir-inspired black and white, were a great success when they were originally commissioned and displayed in a Whinhill Court flat as part of the Inverclyde Doors Open Day weekend in September. This new exhibition gives people another chance to see the pictures and to find out for themselves about the ongoing works to transform the Broomhill area.
River Clyde Homes is investing more than £26m to regenerate Broomhill with works well underway and at a number of blocks the changes are clear for all to see.
River Clyde Homes board member, Ronnie Ahlfeld, said: “This is a great opportunity to see a display of distinctive photographs showing a very different perspective of Broomhill. Once the works are complete the area will be transformed to provide modern homes with low-cost heating systems in an area with an improved local environment close to Greenock town centre.”
Opening hours to view the exhibition are Mon, Tue, Thu 8.45am – 4.30pm, Wed 8.45am – 3.30pm and Fri 8.45am – 3.45pm.
