Ed, who is a Chartered Accountant, joins from Warwick-based Alliance Medical Limited, where he is currently the UK finance director.

He brings nearly two decades of experience to the position, including 15 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he moved through various roles to become audit director.

Ed, who is due to take up his role in the next financial year, takes over at Sanctuary from Craig Moule, who became group CEO on January 1 following the retirement of David Bennett.
