Scottish Association of Landlords issues PRS manifesto summary

As politicians from all parties gear up for the Scottish parliamentary election on 5 May 2016, the Scottish Association of Landlords (SAL) has outlined its key areas of concern relating to the private rented sector (PRS).
The manifesto summary includes headline requirements to which the organisation believes politicians should be committing, to ensure the sector effectively serves the needs of the people of Scotland.
Priority requirements include growing the sector, regulation, tenancy reform, welfare reform, immigration, energy efficiency and safety.
The summary also includes party responses to question posed to SAL such as:
What is your view about the future role of the Private Rented Sector in Scotland?
If elected, what would your party do to encourage investment in housing by small scale landlords?
