Scottish Home Awards unveils 2022 finalists
The finalists in a national competition which recognises excellence in the Scottish new build housing sector have been announced in advance of the annual industry celebration and dinner to be held in Glasgow next month.
The Scottish Home Awards, sponsored by Ross & Liddell, has named the developments, homes and organisations which have made it to the shortlist in the 15th annual competition.
The judging panel, which includes Scottish Housing News editor Kieran Findlay, assessed more than 130 entries in 14 categories received from organisations from across Scotland.
Colin Cumberland, chair of the Scottish Home Awards judging panel, and head of residential at Ediston Real Estate, said: “We have spent the last few weeks assessing a large volume of entries and have met as a panel to discuss and agree on the merits of every entry. The finalists announced today should feel very proud to have been selected for this stage as the judging is rigorous and the competition is tough.
“I would like to thank the judges for their valued contribution, and we all look forward to celebrating in Glasgow in June.”
Andrew Cunningham, managing director of Ross & Liddell, added: “The Scottish Home Awards has a vital role to play helping to reward individuals and teams creating success in the housebuilding industry. The popularity of the awards is encouraging and reflects the amount of high-quality work in new build housing being delivered every day.
“Ross and Liddell are very proud to continue our support of the programme and would like to congratulate all the finalists for their achievements.”
The winners will be revealed at the awards dinner, hosted by Des Clarke, which will take place on Thursday 23 June 2022 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.
The awards also support ‘It’s Good 2 Give’ and the management of The Ripple Retreat a luxury residential retreat on the shores of Loch Venacher in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. The award-winning designer home is gifted to young cancer patients and their families for short stay holidays throughout the year.
