Scottish Housing Regulator launches improved landlord directory
The Scottish Housing Regulator has launched a new directory that will make it easier to find information about all social landlords.
The Directory of Social Landlords is the central location for all public information that the Regulator holds about each registered social landlord (RSL) and local authority landlord.
It will now be easier for any member of the public to find out more about a specific landlord, including contact details, profile of the landlord’s houses, landlord reports and RSL annual accounts.
The directory includes information from the regulator’s RSL Register, plus additional details for local authorities. Its simplified search options allow searching by A-Z or by local authority area.
Michael Cameron, chief executive, said: “We are committed to providing useful, accessible information about the landlords we regulate. Our new directory will make it easier for tenants, service users and others with an interest to find the information they need.
The directory adds to the wide range of information we already publish on our website about each landlord’s performance against the Scottish Social Housing Charter.”
The new directory is part of the regulator’s wider programme of work to develop its award winning Business Intelligence systems. The next stages in the programme will bring new online Loan Portfolio forms for RSLs and enable landlords to submit notifiable events and applications for consent online. This functionality will become available in the coming months.
