Scottish Housing Regulator pays tribute to its former chair
The Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) has named its new Boardroom in tribute to Kay Blair, its former chair who passed away in February.
In the Board’s first meeting in its new office today, George Walker, chair, marked the occasion by saying: “Naming our new boardroom in tribute to Kay is a mark of respect and affection. Everyone at SHR, and many beyond, miss Kay. Her commitment and strength serve as a strong legacy.”
The Regulator moved to its new permanent office last week. Its new space is in Buchanan House, north of Glasgow city centre.
The Regulator has been in decant space in this building for the last 18 months and said the new office provides a flexible, modern working environment and SHR delivers budget savings.
