Second build to rent development planned for Canonmills
Residential developer HUB is exploring opportunities to redevelop a site occupied by two industrial buildings, located on the north and south side of Dunedin Street in the Canonmills area of Edinburgh.

The firm is at an early design stage to develop 16 and 23-27 Dunedin Street to provide new build to rent properties.
The site is adjacent to Beaverhall House where HUB plans to progress a mixed-use proposal.
Led by architects O’DonnellBrown, the project team includes Atelier Ten, Turley, Civic Engineers, Circle, Transport Planning and Comm Comm UK.
Damien Sharkey, managing director at HUB, said: “We prioritise honesty and flexibility, which enables us to collaborate with the local community to deliver high-quality schemes.
“Dunedin Street is our second site in the Cannonmills area and we are truly excited to become long-term members of the community.”
A formal planning application is to be filed in March next year.
