In terms of the Scottish Housing Regulator’s nine year rule, this is a great way for committee/board members to show that they are continuing to learn, be it attending a course, a briefing from staff, self directed learning by reading or even looking at a YouTube video. Completing learning log shows what members have learned and how this has impacted on their role as a committee/board member.

Learning Logs are available from SHARE and anyone who attended its annual conference in March received one in their pack.

This is the third year of competition so don’t delay. Complete the learning log and send it to SHARE before the end of May 2015. The winner will receive a cash prize of £100 along with an individual trophy.

The winner’s name and organisation will be engraved on the annual trophy which is retained by their organisation for one year.
