Share’s Corporate Governance and HR Conference

Share’s Corporate Governance and HR Conference

There’s just six weeks to go until Share’s ever popular Corporate Governance and HR Conference will take place.

The conference will see HR and Governance professionals from across the country gather to hear from experienced speakers on a range of topical subjects.

Confirmed speakers that are lined up for the conference include:

James McMorrow, partner (Public Sector) at Harper MacLeod who is recognised as a “Leading Individual” and “Recommended Lawyer” in The Legal 500 and Chambers UK in Social Housing. James will be delivering a ‘Regulatory update’ workshop considering the most important legal and regulatory updates affecting the social housing sector in 2024.

Share will also welcome Sofia Redford, corporate services officer at Osprey Housing Association. Sofia, who has over 10 years’ experience in working in the social housing sector and holds a Diploma in Corporate Governance from CIPFA, will deliver a workshop that will look at Carbon Literacy and Osprey’s journey towards accreditation, and how they continue to consider their impact on the world as they aim towards achieving gold accreditation in the future.

Lyndsey Segal, founder of Heads-up Coaching/Productivity Ninja will deliver ‘The 4 Pillars of Productivity’ keynote, which looks at how your energy, time, attention, and wellbeing are the supportive structures that help you live and work more effectively, productively, and sustainably. Lyndsey is no stranger to delivering workshops and keynotes, having delivered across the UK to universities, charities, the NHS, and companies such as Chanel and Diageo.

Founder and chief executive officer of Henpicked, Deborah Garlick, will also be there discussing how to ‘Unlock the Benefits: Creating a Menopause and Menstruation-Friendly Workplace.’ Deborah is a leading voice in menopause advocacy and has overseen menopause-friendly training for thousands of organisations, empowering them to foster supportive environments. Deborah’s workshop will debunk myths, provide actionable strategies, and show you how to start and sustain essential conversations.

More speakers are set to be announced over the coming weeks, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic event, with plenty of opportunity to network with colleagues from across the sector to catch up, share ideas and knowledge.
