Shettleston HA aims to build 40 new homes on site of former school

Shettleston Housing Association (SHA) has submitted a planning application for 40 new homes on the former site of St Mark’s Primary School on Muiryfauld Drive.
The development would involve a mix of cottage flats, semi-detached homes, townhouses and flats designed by architects Anderson Bell Christie.
It will also include 42 car parking spaces for residents and visitors.
The site has lain undeveloped since a fire in 2012, and was acquired by the SHA for over £200,000 in January, the Evening Times reports.
The planning application will be considered by Glasgow City Council in coming months.
