Social housing sector’s ‘culture of continuous improvement’ reflected in new report
A new report from the Scottish Housing Regulator reinforces the fact social housing providers continue to provide great homes in great places, SFHA chief executive Sally Thomas has said.
The Regulator’s sixth national analysis of landlords’ performance against the Scottish Social Housing Charter revealed a continued strong performance across the majority of the Charter standards and outcomes.
Nine out of 10 tenants are satisfied with their homes and services and 15 out of 16 Charter Standards were either maintained or improved.
Ms Thomas said: “These are excellent results and once again prove social housing is the best in the country. We know social housing providers work tirelessly within a culture of continuous improvement to build and manage high-quality affordable homes in successful places that the people of Scotland need and deserve.
“Our members are, and should be, proud of all that they do.”
