South Ayrshire Council approves 290 new homes
South Ayrshire Council has approved the construction of 290 new homes on a 49-acre site stretching from land off Main Street in Barassie to the north-eastern edge of Troon.
Taylor Wimpey West Scotland and Lynch Homes will deliver a range of three, four and five bedroom homes in a variety of styles and sizes to appeal to a wide range of customers. Taylor Wimpey will deliver 226 new homes with Lynch Homes providing 64.
The development proposals for this site in Barassie also benefits from a Section 69 Agreement which includes contributions towards schools, upgrades to Barassie Train Station, community facilities, improved access to Struthers Primary School, as well as local transport improvements.
