Spire View Housing Association welcomes lottery funding
Spire View Housing Association has welcomed a £63,040 funding package from the National Lottery to help support its Royston Coronavirus Response project.
The Association said the funding will be “absolutely vital” to support vulnerable residents at Spire View, in Royston.
Spire View will use the funding, alongside Copperworks and Blochairn housing associations, to provide hot food and meal packages to vulnerable residents in the North Glasgow area.
The Association said it was “completely overwhelmed by the support of the National Lottery”.
Councillor Allan Casey congratulated Spire View’s efforts and said: “Absolutely fantastic that our community bid has been successful and this money will go a long way to support our community through this current crisis.”
