Springfield has handed over new energy efficient homes in Milnathort to Kingdom Housing Association signalling the completion of the development.

Located just off Curler Crescent, the 16 homes are ideally located to local amenities in Milnathort. The homes also benefit from the community facilities available in the neighbouring town of Kinross, with the M90 close by.

Utilising air source heating systems, high levels of quality insulation and responsibly sourced timber, each of the one, two and three-bedroom homes has been built with sustainability in mind, whilst helping to keep the running costs low for the new families collecting their keys.

Springfield Partnerships managing director, Tom Leggeat, said: “It’s always gratifying to see the positive impact affordable housing projects, like this one at Milnathort, can have and is an important reminder as to why we need more good quality homes in Scotland to address the stark undersupply.

“We have delivered over 10 projects with Kingdom Housing Association in recent years and are proud of what we have achieved together. We are already at advanced stages of discussion for another development and thoroughly looking forward to working with them again in the future.”

Tricia Hill, Kingdom Group development director, said: “At Kingdom, we are committed to delivering high-quality, affordable homes that meet the needs of our customers while supporting the development of sustainable communities. The completion of these 16 energy-efficient homes in Milnathort is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through strong partnerships.

“Working alongside Springfield, we have been able to provide families with homes that not only offer comfort and security but also reduce environmental impact and help with the cost of living. We look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts to address the urgent need for more affordable homes in Scotland.”
