Staff awards presented at DGHP event
Staff from Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership (DGHP) have been praised for their achievements at an annual awards ceremony in Dumfries.
Certificates were awarded to staff in recognition of their work by DGHP’s chairman David McMillan.
Chief executive of DGHP, Zoe Forster, said: “Our staff are the cornerstone of our organisation and their continuous achievements in challenging times amaze me every year.
“Without training and learning to deal with the challenges ahead, we simply couldn’t continue to deliver excellent services to our tenants. An investment in our teams is an investment in the future of DGHP – and together we are achieving some fantastic things.
“I would like to thank all of the staff for their continued hard work and dedication to helping the organisation move closer to our aim of being the best Registered Social Landlord (RSL) in Scotland.”
David McMillan added: “It makes me immensely proud to be Chairman when we can share such success with our teams across Dumfries and Galloway.
“From Stranraer to Annan there are staff working hard to develop their knowledge and skills to help our tenants every single day. I congratulate them all in their achievements, well done.”
Awards were handed out for various achievements and courses including: ICS Communications; CIH Certificate in Housing Level 2; First Impressions; Gas Safety; SVQs in Health and Social Care as well as qualifications from the Institute of Clerk of Works.
