Statutory manager appointment continues at Wellhouse Housing Association
The Scottish Housing Regulator has continued its statutory appointment of a manager to Wellhouse Housing Association.
The manager will continue to support Wellhouse to complete its governance and financial improvement plan.
The Regulator appointed a statutory manager to Wellhouse in December 2014 after an independent investigation highlighted areas of serious regulatory concern. It has extended the appointment until November 2016 and will continue to work with Wellhouse to complete improvements.
Christine Macleod, director of governance and performance, said: “Wellhouse has made good progress in working through its improvement plan. It has worked constructively with us to address the serious issues it has faced. We have continued this statutory appointment to protect tenants’ interests and ensure that Wellhouse has the support it needs to complete its improvement plan.”
