Summerpark, which opened in January 2008, was Story Homes’ first ever development in Scotland and is still the biggest development in Dumfries and Galloway to date. It is now home to over 500 residents, plus two family play areas that were provided for homeowners to enjoy, and the development has also received numerous awards in recognition of its quality.

Hayley Blair, Story Homes’ sales director for Cumbria and Scotland, said: “This is a milestone celebration for our Summerpark development and we’re extremely proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 15 years.”

Fiona Ure, who has worked as a sales executive at Summerpark since its launch, said: “It’s been a pleasure to watch the Summerpark community grow and flourish over the last 15 years. My colleagues and I love getting to know our residents and seeing how happy they are with their new homes – it’s such a rewarding job. The customer journey is an exciting experience for our customers, and even after all these years I still get the same buzz when handing them the keys to their new Story homes.”

Fiona added: “Working at Summerpark feels like we’re part of one big family. We very much feel like we’re part of the community.”

Alex, one of the residents at Summerpark, said: “I love being part of the Summerpark community. I’ve lived here for almost four years now and have become really settled. I love my home and living on this beautiful development. I’ve had a fantastic experience with Story Homes.”
