Stromness housing allocations strategy out for consultation

Views are being sought regarding a draft development brief which provides a cohesive development strategy for six housing allocations within the settlement boundary of Stromness.
Orkney Islands Council said the allocations and the location face a number of development considerations that require a cohesive approach to ensure appropriate development, as outlined in the Draft Stromness South End Development Brief.
An eight-week public consultation starts today, with formal comments welcome at devplan@orkney.gov.uk.
