Taylor Wimpey celebrates newly completed communities in North Lanarkshire
Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has confirmed that all new homes at its Burnside View development in Bargeddie and Raven’s Cliff in Motherwell have now sold.
The announcement signals the completion of its most recent phase of this growing community at Ravenscraig after eight years of construction and just over three years in Bargeddie.
While homeowners will continue to move into the final few homes in both of these locations, the housebuilder’s commitment to North Lanarkshire will continue across a number of projects including the next phase of development coming later this year at Torrance Place in Holytown, as well as further land interests in Glenboig and Moodiesburn.
Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said: “Over the years, the response to our range of new homes at our developments in Bargeddie and Ravenscraig has been fantastic, and we’re very proud of these new communities where so many buyers have chosen to call them home.
“We are equally proud of the wider community benefits that we have delivered as part of our commitment to these local communities where we have built. In real terms this means that once the developments are fully complete, we will have provided over £1.35 million Section 75 education contributions in North Lanarkshire and delivered local path upgrades and ten affordable homes at Ravenscraig.
“Our longstanding commitment to North Lanarkshire will continue with a range of new developments across the local area, which includes our development coming soon at Torrance Place in Holytown where construction work on phase 2 of the Torrance masterplan is already underway.”
She added: “The first phase of this development was very popular with a range of buyers, which we believe demonstrates a real need for quality homes in convenient locations.
“Torrance Place will provide homeowners with a variety of homes to choose from, a range of local facilities in nearby Holytown and to make use of, as well as easily accessible routes to Motherwell and Hamilton. We would encourage interested buyers who missed out on phase one of the development to register their details with us to stay updated on when our new homes in Holytown launch for sale later this year.”
Phase two of homes at Torrance Place are expected to be released for sale later this year.
