Taylor Wimpey secures planning consent for final development in Calderwood
Taylor Wimpey East Scotland has secured planning permission from West Lothian Council for its final 112 new homes, off Calderwood Road in East Calder.
It has also acquired the land, signalling 10 years of the homebuilder’s continued commitment to the wider Calderwood masterplan.
This last development by Taylor Wimpey in Calderwood will offer a selection of two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes designed to cater to a wide range of buyers. Sixteen of the properties will be delivered to satisfy West Lothian Council’s affordable homes policy, and it is anticipated that the range of two, three and four-bedroom affordable homes will be for social rent. Construction work on this final development in Calderwood is already underway.
Following the confirmation of a Section 75 legal agreement with West Lothian Council, this development will also provide £5 million towards education facilities.
