Tenant gets ‘smart’ with Argyll Community Housing Association
An Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA) tenant won a new Smart TV after she carried out a tenant satisfaction survey for the Association.
Over 1,400 tenants from all over Argyll and Bute were contacted by ACHA staff during November and December 2016and asked to participate, 400 of which agreed to take part.
The aim of the survey was to assist the Association to develop and improve its services to tenants.
All participants were entered into a prize draw to win a TV and Mrs Janice Crichton of Glebe Terrace Rothesay received the prize from ACHA’s chairman of the Board of management, Mr Jim Milne.
Janice was delighted with her prize and said: “I usually don’t take part in surveys but I’m glad that I did this time.”
Mr Milne expressed his gratitude to the tenants who took part in the survey adding: “It is worth stressing again that as a tenant led organisation it is vital that the Association understands the needs of our tenants. An exercise like this allows us to ensure that the views expressed by our tenants are taken into account when deciding on service improvements.”
The results of the satisfaction survey will be reported to ACHA tenants and also to the Scottish Housing Regulator.
