Thenue gets green light for development on former school site
Thenue Housing has gained applied for planning permission to develop 18 terraced houses and cottage flats at the site of a former school in north east Glasgow
Under plans designed by Coltart Earley, the land formerly occupied by Littlehill Primary School on Craighead Avenue will provide a mix of one, two and three-bedroom properties.
Twenty-three car parking spaces would also be provided.
Charles Turner, chief executive of Thenue, told Scottish Housing News: “We expect to go out to tender in due course. However Glasgow City Council advised that due to funding restrictions they will not be approving any new tenders this financial year. This project is not going to be tendered in this financial year, with no approval expected until the summer of 2021. It is however an important part of our plans to continue delivering good housing for the communities we serve.”
