This award is open to a scrutiny panel, scrutiny group, community or tenants group that can demonstrate excellence in scrutiny practice that others can learn from and will inspire future tenant scrutiny development in Scotland.

Scrutiny Excellence Award

This award is open to landlord organisations who can demonstrate excellent tenant scrutiny practice in Scotland.

Frances Nelson Excellence Award

Sponsored by Dundee City Council

This award is open to individual tenants or volunteers who can demonstrate excellence in the spirit, development and advancement of the tenants and residents movement in Scotland.

Tenant Participation Champion

Sponsored by the Scottish Government

This award is open to any individual staff member of landlord organisations across Scotland that can demonstrate high levels of excellence in supporting and advocating genuine tenant participation.

Community Development Excellence Award

Sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Housing

This award is open to any community or tenants and residents organisation in Scotland that can clearly show how it has achieved positive change and contributed to community development.

Tenants & Residents Organisation of the Year

This award is open to any tenants and residents or umbrella organisation in Scotland that has worked to achieve positive change in their area or region.

All shortlisted nominees will be invited to the TIS National Award Ceremony as part of the TIS Annual Conference on Saturday 11th June 2016, where the winner will be announced.
