TIS has welcomed Francine O’Donnell as the new development officer for its South Lanarkshire Project, providing development support to local tenants and residents groups.

Francine has joined TIS from a community development background working on the Scottish Government’s Health and Social Care Integration Partnership, which provided her with an in-depth knowledge of the issues faced by communities in Scotland.

As the development officer for the South Lanarkshire Project, her role involves working with tenants throughout South Lanarkshire to support and develop Tenant Participation.

Francine will provide briefing papers for tenants on a range of housing related issues and hold events to allow them to respond to consultations. She will also support the development of new tenants and residents groups.

Francine said: “I am really excited about my new role and looking forward to meeting new people and facing new challenges.”
