Tracey Kerr to retire from East Lothian Housing Association
After 25 years as director of housing at East Lothian Housing Association (ELHA), Tracey Kerr is heading for the oceans, ski slopes and bridleways of the world at the end of this month.
Joining ELHA from Scottish Homes, it wasn’t long before Tracey was involved in the stock transfer which saw ELHA triple in size overnight. Since then ELHA has grown steadily to be three times as big again and has become widely known for its work locally and nationally.
Tracey was involved in the early development of Homehunt, now a national service advertising thousands of affordable homes to rent and buy every year. More recently, Tracey has been at the cutting edge of digital housing service development as a core part of the team developing My Home and Key Tenant services.
ELHA chief executive, Martin Pollhammer, said: “I have so far failed to acknowledge that Tracey is leaving as I’ve no idea what we’ll do without her. I’ve also refused to listen to her retirement plans as they sound far too much fun.
“Tracey has made a huge contribution, not just at ELHA, but across the sector, and the 12 years we have worked together seem to have flown by. It just won’t be the same place without Tracey, but all of us wish Tracey the very best for an action packed retirement.”
Tracey’s last day in the office will be December 20.
