Tricia Hill appointed as development director at Kingdom Group
The Kingdom Group has appointed Tricia Hill as its new development director.
With over 15 years’ experience of leading large-scale mixed tenure and redevelopment programmes in both the housing association and local authority sectors, Tricia joins Kingdom from Scottish Canals, where she is currently head of placemaking.
During her career, Tricia has led and delivered transformational new-build and regeneration projects within the city of Edinburgh and across Scotland, with a focus on creating sustainable communities, including modular and net-zero homes and active travel.
Tom Barclay, Kingdom Group chief executive, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Tricia Hill to the Kingdom Group as our new development director. We have ambitious plans to build around 2,000 high-quality affordable homes over the next five years. Homes that will provide the foundations for new and growing communities across the central belt. At the Kingdom Group, our mission is to deliver more than a home and Tricia’s experience will help us achieve that as we continue to focus on the genuinely life-changing work that we do.”
When asked about her new role, Tricia Hill said: “I am extremely happy to be joining the Kingdom Group and can’t wait to get started. Kingdom is an organisation that is well known and well respected within the sector and also more broadly. It takes an innovative and progressive approach to new build and regeneration and that, in particular, is something that resonates strongly with me. I understand the importance of place and community and the role high-quality homes play.”
Tricia added: “I am excited to continue my work building and enhancing communities to make lasting changes in the lives of our customers as well as shaping Kingdom’s ongoing development programme, its employability project, Kingdom Works, and the Fife Care & Repair service.”
