Trust tenants in Pollokshaws see new bathrooms installed
CCG Scotland has just completed bathroom renovations at Trust Housing Association’s Pollokshaws development.
Customers at Shawholm Crescent benefited from new bathrooms through this £150,000 contract and are delighted with their new bathrooms.
CCG Scotland was onsite during October and November to upgrade 23 customer bathrooms and three common bathrooms. The existing bathrooms were redesigned to a wet floor layout.
The existing bathroom areas received a complete overhaul which included new non-slip vinyl flooring along with new sanitaryware and fittings. The shower area was fitted with a high quality waterproof Fibo wallboard whilst other surfaces received emulsion and gloss finishes. Mira thermostatic controlled electric showers were installed along with replacement anti-scald valves at the wash hand basins. Old lighting was renewed with energy saving LED light fittings.
Mrs McEneaney, a resident within Shawholm Crescent, said: “The new bathroom is lovely and bright.”
Bernard Dong, Trust Housing care worker, said: “The bathroom design provides easy access for personal care and the new extract fans are low noise.”
Ruth Black, another housing care worker at Trust, said: “Generally feedback has been positive from family members regarding the bathroom upgrades. The CCG supervisor, Chris
Brennan was very helpful and considerate to our customer’s needs.”
CCG is also working on behalf of Trust in Govan with the delivery of a new-build affordable housing development. Located on Langlands Road just off Harmony Row in the busy town centre, the development will provide 46 flats, all tailored to meet the needs of tenants over the age of 55 is set for completion in 2024.
CCG also kindly gifted the development £100 towards their Christmas party.
