Video: Bridgewater celebrates successful year at AGM
Bridgewater Housing Association hosted a successful Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 11 gathering members and guests at its offices in India of Inchinnan.
Despite the challenging economic climate, the Association reported a productive year marked by continued commitment to providing quality homes and services to its tenants and other customers.
“We are incredibly proud of the achievements we’ve made over the past year,” said John Paterson, chairperson of Bridgewater Housing Association. “Despite the challenges posed by the cost-of-living crisis, we remained steadfast in our dedication to supporting our tenants and customers.”

Key highlights of the year included:
- Enhanced Customer Service: The Association implemented changes to its staff structure to provide more robust customer support for tenants, owners, and other customers.
- Improved Tenant Safety: Bridgewater increased its focus on tenant safety, resulting in strengthened processes and procedures.
- Positive Performance Outcomes: Andy Thomson, CEO, outlined the Association’s strong performance in 2023/2024 and shared plans for future growth, including further development of online services and consultation with tenants on supported housing models.
“Bridgewater is in a strong position,” added Andy Thomson. “We are committed to transforming our service offer and exploring opportunities to increase the number of affordable homes in Erskine and surrounding areas.”
The AGM concluded with a raffle draw and a thank-you from the board to all attendees. As Bridgewater looks forward to the year ahead, the Association said it remains dedicated to providing exceptional housing and support to the communities it serves.
