Views sought on revised code of conduct for registered property factors
The Scottish Government is consulting on proposals to revise the Code of Conduct for registered property factors and other related amendments to the Property Factors (Scotland) Act 2011.
The consultation also seeks views on whether the original Code has led to improvements in the quality of factoring services to homeowners and whether the 2011 Act has improved the wider regulation of property factors.
The consultation runs until January 15 and people can respond online.
A number of interactive events will also be held on the following dates for those with an interest in the Code or the wider 2011 Act to discuss and debate the proposals and questions raised in the consultation.
