Waverley welcomes new apprentices
Waverley Housing has welcomed new apprentices which were recently recruited as part of its continued commitment to provide opportunities for young people in the Borders.
Louise Davies joins existing apprentice Rachel Hunter in the office, with both completing a 2-year apprenticeship in SVQ Level 3 Business & Administration.
Ryan Cockburn, currently in his 2nd year of an electrical apprenticeship is joined by recent recruits, Jack McDonald (apprentice painter); Harris Campbell (apprentice roofer); Ruaridh Macleod and Steven Drummond (apprentice joiners) all working within Waverley’s Property Services Team for their 4-year apprenticeship.
After four years of developing their skills and confidence, Waverley said farewell to previous apprentices Hayden Reith, James Burns and Jordan Paterson, all having successfully completed their apprenticeship and securing employment with local firms.
Upon completing his joinery apprenticeship, Connor Brunton has been recruited onto Waverley’s planned maintenance team as a full-time joiner.
