The Co-operative’s tenant controlled management committee set the rent charges for all its properties for the next financial year following full consultation with all WWHC tenant/members.

The Co-operative said its philosophy behind rent setting is to ensure the provision of the highest possible service levels at an affordable rent.

It said: “We understand the difficult financial situation many of our tenant/members face and so committee is very pleased to be able to freeze all rents for 2016/17 i.e. apply a 0% rent increase.”
