Wheatley family members recognised for excellence at European Business Awards
Three of Wheatley Group’s partner organisations are celebrating success following Quality Scotland’s 2018 Awards.
Dunedin Canmore, Barony and Loretto Housing all picked up top accolades after being rigorously assessed by Quality Scotland against the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM) excellence model which measures business performance.
The awards in Edinburgh saw Dunedin Canmore gain Recognised for Excellence five-star status and then go on to take home the top Scottish Award for Business Excellence prize as well as the ‘Adding Value for Customers Good Practice’ award.
This makes Dunedin Canmore the fourth member of Wheatley to achieve five-star status, following closely in the footsteps of Loretto Care and Cube who attained it last year and GHA who reached five-star status in 2011, the same year that they too won the top Scottish Award for Business Excellence.
Martin Armstrong, chief executive of Wheatley Group, said: “This award marks a major milestone for Dunedin Canmore on its journey to excellence. It’s an outstanding achievement and testament to the hard work and commitment staff bring to delivering services to tenants across their communities.”
Barony and Loretto Housing also both reached major milestones in their journeys to excellence by gaining ‘Committed to Excellence’ awards.
