Whiteburn Projects to host second public consultation for Viewforth development
Whiteburn Projects is to host its second public consultation for new homes at Viewforth in Kirkcaldy.
The project developer is preparing to deliver around 100 new homes, offering a mix of three- and four-bedroom new homes as well as two-bedroom apartments through the conversion of the original C-listed school building.
The consultation follows the success of the first one held last month and will take place on Thursday 19th September between 3.30pm and 7.30pm at Strathearn Hotel, 2 Wishart Place in Kirkcaldy.
At the event, the Edinburgh-based developers will provide a further update to the local community of its plans for a residential development in the grounds of the former Viewforth High School, on Loughborough Road, Kirkcaldy.
After receiving feedback from the first consultation event, this event will allow Whiteburn Projects to share its latest proposals for the development with members of the public and other interested parties.
The event provides another opportunity for the local community to share its views and give feedback as the detailed designs for the development are finalised over the coming months.
Whiteburn has appointed LBA and Fairhurst Engineers to work with them.
Roger Bainbridge, director of design and delivery for Whiteburn Projects, said: “Our first consultation event in August was well-attended, and we received some helpful feedback from various members of the local community who took the time to share their views and suggestions. We’ve been able to take this into consideration as our plans for the development have evolved, and our public consultation event next Thursday allows us to update the local community on our latest approach and design for the development.”
