Williamsburgh Housing Association hosts Halloween event
Williamsburgh Housing Association in partnership with Renfrewshire Leisure held a Halloween themed evening at Mckerrell Street Play Park.
Over 100 community members attended and got to try out various spooky fun activities including a ghost hunt and games, outdoor cartoon cinema, spooky arts and crafts, free costume rail and face painter.
Bryan Dando, community regeneration officer at Williamsburgh Housing Association, said: “On the back of a successful summer event the community asked Williamsburgh Housing Association to follow up with a Halloween event, as many of the young people in our area can’t go house to house for trick or treating due to the secure tenement buildings in the area.
“Therefore to ensure that the young people from our area weren’t excluded from the fun that Halloween can offer, we worked in partnership with Renfrewshire Leisure and created a family-friendly, fun and safe event for people to come to that was central within Seedhill.”
