Wishaw café space available at CentrePoint Community Facility
Garrion People’s Housing Cooperative is calling on local businesses or social enterprises to set up shop in its café facility.
Operating in the Gowthrapple area of Wishaw, the CentrePoint Community Facility has a kitchen and café space which is currently unoccupied.
The space boasts kitchen facilities including a till, large fridge, large freezer, soup urn, hot water urn, juice fridge, table to twin hobs, baked potato oven, microwave, George Foreman grills, toaster, toastie machine and air fryer as well as room for 40 covers.
Thanks to its strong links with Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire, the housing cooperative can also offer capacity support to any social enterprises thinking of moving into the facility.
Cathy Brien, director of Garrion People’s Housing Cooperative, said: “CentrePoint is a real community hub, so it would be the perfect place for a social enterprise to operate from.
“The facilities on offer are in full working order so it would be fairly simple to come into the space and get started right away.
“If you’re interested in finding out more or want to come along and check out the space for yourself, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Craig Allan here at GPHC and we’ll be more than happy to help.”
Flexible office space is also available at CentrePoint, either for permanent lease or hot desking, with a fully furnished office with space for up to six people, an interview room, manager’s office and access to a 16 seater boardroom when required are all on offer.
To find out more about the space available by calling Craig Allan at Garrion People’s Housing Cooperative, on 01698 274670 or by email at craig.allan@gphc.org.uk.
