Engaging tenants to improve service delivery - SHARE

Who’s it for and what’s it about?

This session is for experienced Committee/Board members and will outline the responsibility, through the Charter, the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) and the Scottish Government, on your organisation to engage with your customers. It will also detail what others are doing in terms of engagement and tenant scrutiny and what is working best north and south of the border. There will be room for discussion on what would be best for your organisation.

Course content

  • Customer Engagement methods
  • What tenant scrutiny is and what it’s not
  • Understand what the SHR, the Scottish Government and the Charter expectations are on your organisation
  • Look at examples of best practice across UK
  • Discuss what would work well within your organisation
