Social Housing Safety Network Scotland tenant and resident safety annual conference

Are you responsible for tenant and resident safety in your organisation or want to find out more.. ??

… then here are five key reasons not to miss this year’s Social Housing Safety Network Scotland Tenant & Resident Safety Annual Conference!

Following the success of last year’s inaugural conference, we are delighted that the 2024 Tenant and Resident Safety Annual Conference is shaping up to be just as fantastic; packed full of useful sessions that include a mixture of awareness raising and case studies from colleagues in the sector, we’re sure there will be something for everyone.

The two-day conference will take place over 20th & 21st November 2024 at Hampden Park Stadium in Glasgow.

There are just five weeks to go until this year’s conference so we’ve put together a quick reminder of why you should book your place (before it’s too late!)

Our keynote speakers include the Scottish Housing Regulator (day one) and Scottish Government (day two). These essential sessions will cover:

  • Tenant & resident safety KPI’s and gaining assurance of compliance
  • Housing (Cladding Remediation) (Scotland) Bill - What will this mean for social housing providers?
  • Fire risk assessor competency - the importance of life safety

Our subject specialist speakers: as well as our unmissable keynotes, we’ve lined up stand-out sessions from hand-picked experts in asbestos, damp & mould, legionella and lift safety as well as a legal specialist. These sessions will raise your knowledge and awareness and give you the opportunity to have your questions answered by subject specialists.

Hear from colleagues in the sector: not only have we organised sessions from sector specialists, you can also hear from others working in tenant and resident safety. There are case studies and knowledge sharing sessions lined up, which will give you the chance to see what others doing, what’s worked well for them, and what you may be able to implement in your own organisation.

Meet and network with other network members, network co-founders and other speakers from the days. There will be plenty of networking time, as well as panel Q&A sessions and a free ‘consultancy clinic’ at the end of each day.

Our venue is the home of Scottish football – Hampden Park Stadium! We have even arranged a stadium tour at the end of each day (tickets are limited and first-come first-served – these can be booked free of charge when you book your conference place).
