About Us

Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland. Our in-house cleaning team clean our void properties ensuring they are ready for our new tenants to move in.

About the Role

You will be part of our in-house cleaning team cleaning our void properties to a high standard, this will include internal and external clearance works. You will also provide support to our in-house repairs team.

Whilst our Depot is based in Glenrothes, you will be expected to work at and from any other properties operated by us.

About you

We are looking for an individual with previous property cleaning, clearance and labouring experience with a good knowledge of health and safety, in particular with the use of cleaning products, sharps identification and removal, deep cleaning and house clearance working within confined spaces (loft clearance). Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable.

You must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach and enthusiasm for your work and a willingness to work to a high standard. You should be able to work well on your own or as part of a team.

A shared van will be provided for the team (of 2) and therefore a current driving licence is essential. You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Disclosure Scotland check.

We offer:

  • Salary up to £21,229
  • 37 days paid leave per year
  • 8% employers pension contribution
