Housing Officer (Part-time - Temporary – Maternity Leave Cover)

£33,375 to £36,648 (EVH Grade 7) (Pro-rata)

Ayrshire Housing is a charitable company with Registered Social Landlord Status based in Ayr. The organisation has a stock of approximately 1,500 houses.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and knowledgeable Housing Officer to provide effective housing management services across a range of activities including rent arrears management, allocations and estates and tenancy management.

The post is a temporary one to cover the post of a current Part-time Housing Officer who will be carrying out the role of a full-time Housing Officer during a period of maternity leave.

You will have:

  • Sound knowledge of current housing related issues
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of impact of welfare reforms and introduction of Universal Credit on association’s tenants
  • A relevant qualification
  • Previous experience of providing generic housing management services to tenants
